No spark on one or all burners
Electrode, wiring or the spark generator. One burner points to the electrode; all burners to the generator or its supply.
Flame goes out on release
Thermocouple. Adjusted or replaced.
Burner flame uneven
Ports blocked or the cap warped. Cleaned or replaced.
Gas smell at the hob
Valve or joint. Leak-tested and repaired before use.
Parts and warranty
Kaff electrodes, thermocouples, valves and burner sets are available for most models; glass tops depend on the model. Where a part is discontinued we fit a matched equivalent and say so. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
