Burner will not light
Electrode, spark generator or a burner cap out of place. Diagnosed before any part is replaced.
Flame dies when the knob is released
Thermocouple failed or misaligned. Replaced or reset.
Gas smell
Valve seal or hose joint. Leak-tested, repaired, tested again.
Glass cracked
Replaced with a matched top where Faber supplies it.

Parts and warranty
Faber hob parts — electrodes, thermocouples, valves, burner sets, glass tops — are available for most current models. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
