Burner not igniting
Spark electrode, ignition module or a burner crown seated wrongly after cleaning. Checked in order.
Flame goes out on release
Thermocouple failed or out of position. Adjusted or replaced.
Flame weak or lifting
Jet or burner crown blocked, or the wrong jet for the gas type. Corrected and set.
Gas smell
Valve or hose joint. Leak-tested and repaired before the hob goes back into use.

Some Bosch hob parts are only available through Bosch; where that is the case we tell you before the visit if you share the model, and we fit equivalents only where they are safe. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
