Common Elica hob problems we fix
Burner not igniting
Spark generator, a cracked electrode or a wet burner cap. Diagnosed in order and replaced only where needed.
Flame goes out when the knob is released
The flame-failure thermocouple has failed or moved. Re-seated or replaced so the safety cut-off works as it should.
Gas smell at a knob
A valve seal. Replaced and leak-tested before the hob is used again.
Glass top cracked
Replaced with a matched toughened top where Elica supplies one.
Elica models and ranges we see most

Parts and warranty
Elica hob burners, electrodes, thermocouples, valves and glass tops are available for most current models. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
HouseTech Care is an independent multi-brand service, not Elica's authorised service centre. We use genuine parts where the maker supplies them and say so when we cannot.
