Common Prestige gas stove problems we fix
Burner not lighting or lighting unevenly
A clogged burner cap or jet, or a broken spark electrode on auto-ignition models. Cleaned or replaced, then the flame is set.
Low or yellow flame
A blocked jet, a wrong-sized nozzle for the gas type, or a regulator problem. We check the whole gas path, not just the burner.
Knob stiff, loose or smelling of gas
The tap valve has dried out or its seal has gone. Serviced or replaced — a gas smell at the knob is never left for later.
Glass top cracked or a pan support broken
Toughened glass tops and pan supports are replaced with matched parts where Prestige supplies them.
Prestige models and ranges we see most
Not on the list? Most Prestige models share parts with one that is — call and ask.
Parts and warranty
Prestige burners, knobs, valves, electrodes and glass tops are available for most current models; a discontinued part gets a matched equivalent, stated on the bill. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
HouseTech Care is an independent multi-brand service, not Prestige's authorised service centre. We use genuine parts where the maker supplies them and say so when we cannot.
