Fridge in Pimple Saudagar
Pimple Saudagar is a dense pocket of societies in PCMC between Wakad and Aundh, built up around Kunal Icon Road and Rahatani — towers close together, parking below, and the outdoor units lined up along the back wall.
In Pimple Saudagar's towers the fridge often stands against a warm wall in a narrow kitchen, and the condenser coil behind it fills with dust from the lanes. A fridge that runs all the time without stopping, or that trips its overload, is usually that: a coil that cannot shed heat. The coil is cleaned and the compressor temperature checked before gas is discussed, and the technician tells you the cost of anything beyond that first.
We cover Pimple Saudagar as part of Pune for refrigerator repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Refrigerator Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Not usually. A stuck fan, a failed defrost or a dirty condenser look exactly the same from outside. The technician checks the cooling and shows you the reading before gas is mentioned.
No. Gas is not used up. If it has gone, it has leaked, and a refill without the repair is money spent twice.
Almost always the fan or the defrost system rather than the gas. It is one of the cheaper faults, and anyone who sells you gas for it is guessing.
Half a day, and it is not quoted until the fault is confirmed. On a fridge past ten years we will also tell you what a new one costs, so you can decide.
The defrost heater, timer or sensor has failed. Scraping it off buys a week; the repair lasts.
It helps. Move what you can into a bag or a neighbour's fridge. The technician will move the rest carefully and put it back.

More often it cannot shed heat: a dusty condenser coil or no air gap behind it. The technician cleans the coil and checks the compressor and the pressure, and only then talks about gas if the readings call for it.
