Fridge in Hinjewadi
Hinjewadi is the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park — three phases of offices with societies and hostels packed along the road to Wakad. Flats change hands often here, and so do the appliances in them.
Hinjewadi's flats change hands often, and fridges get shifted with them — carried down three floors, laid on their side in a tempo and plugged in the same evening. A fridge that stopped cooling after a move is the most common call from here: the gas line disturbed at a joint, or the compressor oil not settled before it was switched on. The technician finds the leak or lets the compressor rest, and tells you the cost before any gas goes in.
We cover Hinjewadi as part of Pune for refrigerator repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Refrigerator Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Not usually. A stuck fan, a failed defrost or a dirty condenser look exactly the same from outside. The technician checks the cooling and shows you the reading before gas is mentioned.
No. Gas is not used up. If it has gone, it has leaked, and a refill without the repair is money spent twice.
Almost always the fan or the defrost system rather than the gas. It is one of the cheaper faults, and anyone who sells you gas for it is guessing.
Half a day, and it is not quoted until the fault is confirmed. On a fridge past ten years we will also tell you what a new one costs, so you can decide.
The defrost heater, timer or sensor has failed. Scraping it off buys a week; the repair lasts.
It helps. Move what you can into a bag or a neighbour's fridge. The technician will move the rest carefully and put it back.
