Fridge in Pimple Nilakh
Pimple Nilakh lies between Pimple Saudagar and Aundh, on the boundary where PCMC meets Pune — a mix of older two- and three-storey houses and the newer societies that went up around Vishal Nagar.
Pimple Nilakh's older houses keep their single-door fridges for fifteen years, and the faults of age are the thermostat, the starting relay and eventually the compressor. The societies around Vishal Nagar have the newer double doors with their own faults — defrost heaters, fan motors, PCBs. The technician tells you plainly which fridge is worth repairing: a relay or thermostat on an old fridge is cheap and sensible, a compressor on one that old is not.
We cover Pimple Nilakh as part of Pune for refrigerator repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Refrigerator Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Not usually. A stuck fan, a failed defrost or a dirty condenser look exactly the same from outside. The technician checks the cooling and shows you the reading before gas is mentioned.
No. Gas is not used up. If it has gone, it has leaked, and a refill without the repair is money spent twice.
Almost always the fan or the defrost system rather than the gas. It is one of the cheaper faults, and anyone who sells you gas for it is guessing.
Half a day, and it is not quoted until the fault is confirmed. On a fridge past ten years we will also tell you what a new one costs, so you can decide.
The defrost heater, timer or sensor has failed. Scraping it off buys a week; the repair lasts.
It helps. Move what you can into a bag or a neighbour's fridge. The technician will move the rest carefully and put it back.
