Fridge in Pimple Gurav
Pimple Gurav is next to New Sangvi, along the Mula on the PCMC side — an older, settled part of the township, with as many independent houses as societies and plenty of appliances that have been in the same kitchen for years.
Pimple Gurav's independent houses have fridges that have stood in the same kitchen for years, and the gas lines in a fridge that old can leak at a joint that has worked loose. The technician finds the leak and repairs it before any refill — a refill without a leak repair is gone in months. Compressor tests, relay and thermostat replacements and door-seal work are all done at home, and you are told the cost before the back comes off.
We cover Pimple Gurav as part of Pune for refrigerator repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Refrigerator Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Not usually. A stuck fan, a failed defrost or a dirty condenser look exactly the same from outside. The technician checks the cooling and shows you the reading before gas is mentioned.
No. Gas is not used up. If it has gone, it has leaked, and a refill without the repair is money spent twice.
Almost always the fan or the defrost system rather than the gas. It is one of the cheaper faults, and anyone who sells you gas for it is guessing.
Half a day, and it is not quoted until the fault is confirmed. On a fridge past ten years we will also tell you what a new one costs, so you can decide.
The defrost heater, timer or sensor has failed. Scraping it off buys a week; the repair lasts.
It helps. Move what you can into a bag or a neighbour's fridge. The technician will move the rest carefully and put it back.

Because the leak was never repaired. Gas does not run out on its own; it escapes. The technician finds the leak, repairs the joint, tests it, and only then refills.
