Common Faber chimney problems we fix
Weak suction
Oil and soot build up on the filters and the impeller until the motor moves half the air it should. A strip-down clean of the baffle or mesh filters, the oil collector and the blower brings the suction back; a worn motor is replaced.
Auto-clean not working
The heating element behind the auto-clean button or the timer board fails, so oil never drains into the collector. We test the element and the PCB and replace only the part that has gone.
Touch panel or lights not responding
Grease and heat get into the touch strip and the LED driver. Usually a panel or driver swap; sometimes only a clean and a loose connector.
Loud noise or vibration
A cracked blower wheel, a motor bearing running dry, or a hood that has worked loose from the wall. We check all three before quoting a motor.
Faber models and ranges we see most
Not on the list? Most Faber models share parts with one that is — call and ask.
Parts and warranty
Filters, motors and auto-clean elements are available for current Faber models. For a discontinued hood we fit a matched equivalent and say so on the bill. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
HouseTech Care is an independent multi-brand service, not Faber's authorised service centre. We use genuine parts where the maker supplies them and say so when we cannot.
