Common Elica chimney problems we fix
Suction has dropped
The filters, oil collector and blower wheel are coated; the motor works harder and moves less air. A full deep clean restores it. If the motor has weakened, we say so and quote before fitting.
Auto-clean cycle stuck or not draining
The heating coil or the control board behind the auto-clean function has failed, or the drain path is blocked. We test, clear and replace only what is needed.
Touch controls unresponsive
The touch panel or its ribbon connector has taken heat and grease. Cleaned and re-seated where possible, replaced where not.
Oil dripping from the hood
The oil collector is full, or its seal has gone, so oil runs back down the body. The collector is cleaned or replaced and the drain path checked.

Elica filters, motors, touch panels and auto-clean parts are available for current models; older ones get a matched equivalent, stated on the bill. Our work carries our own service warranty; parts carry the maker's.
