Microwave in Pimple Saudagar
Pimple Saudagar is a dense pocket of societies in PCMC between Wakad and Aundh, built up around Kunal Icon Road and Rahatani — towers close together, parking below, and the outdoor units lined up along the back wall.
Pimple Saudagar's kitchens have as many OTGs as microwaves — the baking ovens that go wrong in their own ways: a heating element that has burnt out, a thermostat that no longer holds temperature, a timer that sticks. Both OTGs and microwaves are repaired at home here, and the technician carries the common elements and switches. For a microwave that does not heat, the magnetron circuit is tested before anything is quoted.
We cover Pimple Saudagar as part of Pune for microwave & otg repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Microwave & OTG Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
That is the magnetron circuit: the fuse, the high voltage diode, the capacitor or the magnetron itself. They are tested in order of cost, so you are not sold the dearest part first.
Stop using it and unplug it. Sparking is usually a burnt waveguide cover, which is a small part, but running it that way damages the cavity, and then the repair is not small.
Most faults, yes. A magnetron or a board sometimes needs the workshop. You are told before it leaves the house, and it comes back tested.
For a solo microwave past eight or nine years with a dead magnetron, often not, and we will say so. For a convection oven or an OTG it usually is.
Yes. Elements, thermostats, timers and the fan on convection models.
No. The latch is what stops it running with the door open. It is an inexpensive part and should be done before the microwave is used again.
