Washing machine in Baner
Baner runs along the Mumbai–Bengaluru highway on the western edge of Pune, and most of it is apartment societies put up in the last fifteen years — split units on the ledges, front-load machines on the balcony, fitted kitchens floor after floor.
In Baner the front-load machine usually stands on the balcony of a society flat, in the sun and the monsoon rain. That is hard on a machine: the door seal perishes and leaks, the drain pump clogs with lint and hair, and the control panel takes the weather. Not draining and door not locking are the calls we get most from here. The fault is found before anything is opened, and most of these are finished in the same visit with the part the technician carries.
We cover Baner as part of Pune for washing machine repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Washing Machine Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Most faults are done in one visit of one to two hours. Bearings and a motor are the exceptions, and those are half a day; you are told that before the work starts, not during it.
Usually not. Nine times out of ten there is a coin, a hairpin or a button caught in the filter. The technician opens the filter first and shows you what comes out of it.
The levelling gets checked first, because that is often all it is. If the feet are level and it still shakes, the shock absorbers or the drum bearings have worn.
Yes. Timer, wash motor, spin motor, drain and gearbox, all of it.
Up to a point. If the bearings and the motor have both gone on a machine past ten years, a new one is usually the better buy, and we will say so instead of selling you the repair.
Tell us the make, the model and the fault when you book. The common parts travel with the technician; an uncommon one takes a day and is quoted before it is ordered.

Usually it is the door seal, which perishes in sun and rain. It is replaced at home in one visit; the technician checks the drum and the drain at the same time, because a seal leak and a blocked drain often arrive together.
