Washing machine in Balewadi
Balewadi sits beside Baner, around the Shiv Chhatrapati sports complex, and is mostly newer high-rise societies — the kind where the washing machine stands on a closed balcony and the outdoor AC unit hangs off a ledge three floors up.
Balewadi's newer societies have closed balconies with tiled floors, and a front-load machine on tile that is not level shakes, walks and finally wears its bearings. A loud spin or a machine that moves is the common call here — levelled and checked first, bearings and shock absorbers replaced where they have gone. Not spinning on a front load is the other one, and that is the carbon brushes or the motor, both diagnosed before a price is given.
We cover Balewadi as part of Pune for washing machine repair: the same technicians, the same prices as the rest of the city — the visit itself is ₹250. The technician confirms the amount at your door before starting, and you pay after the work.
Visiting charge ₹250 per visit.

Washing Machine Repair in Pune — frequently asked questions
Most faults are done in one visit of one to two hours. Bearings and a motor are the exceptions, and those are half a day; you are told that before the work starts, not during it.
Usually not. Nine times out of ten there is a coin, a hairpin or a button caught in the filter. The technician opens the filter first and shows you what comes out of it.
The levelling gets checked first, because that is often all it is. If the feet are level and it still shakes, the shock absorbers or the drum bearings have worn.
Yes. Timer, wash motor, spin motor, drain and gearbox, all of it.
Up to a point. If the bearings and the motor have both gone on a machine past ten years, a new one is usually the better buy, and we will say so instead of selling you the repair.
Tell us the make, the model and the fault when you book. The common parts travel with the technician; an uncommon one takes a day and is quoted before it is ordered.
